The 3 Sisters Hot Dog Round Up is a family-friendly festival celebrating 5 years of producing 100% grass-fed beef franks, and will include a variety of delightful farm themed events.
Are you looking for a mouth-waterin’, square-dancin’ good time the whole family will absolutely eat up? Then chow down and hoedown with the 3 Sisters Family Farm this summer, at our Hog Dog Round Up! We can’t wait to celebrate five successful years of offering our uncured beef franks, and we’re doing it in style!
On Saturday, July 23, dust off those cowboy boots, and head on over to our farm, located at 938 Scenic Heights Road in Oak Harbor. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., you’ll be greeted with live music, performed by Ricky Gene Powell and his local string band, accompanied by our favorite local clogging group, Heels of Thunder. While you get your kicks on, boogie on over to the hay barn for a delicious homestyle lunch, featuring our own sustainably raised, grass-fed beef franks!
But that’s not all! Make sure to show up to the Hot Dog Round Up with a hearty appetite so you can participate in our gourmet pie eating contest, generously sponsored by Whidbey Pies! Winners will receive farm-themed prizes, and of course, bragging rights. Eating contests not your thing? That’s okay! The oldest of the 3 Sisters will be giving farm tours to explore the behind-the-scenes beef operation, and a silent auction will be held to benefit farmland conservation. On top of that, a variety of kids’ games will be available to keep the little ones entertained, and a handful of local food artisans will provide a taste of the Pacific Northwest.
After everyone has had some time to digest, square dance connoisseur Alex McLeod will be joining the band on stage to teach us all how to square dance! Young and old alike are welcome to join in, regardless of experience level.
So don’t miss out on our summertime event! This is a wonderful opportunity to relish in an authentic farm atmosphere with your family, and catch up with folks from our community! Tickets are limited, so be sure to purchase yours before they’re gone.
Tickets are available at the 3 Sisters Market, located at 799 Holbrook Road in Coupeville, or can be purchased over by phone by calling (360) 678-5445. Tickets cost $15 for adults, and $12 for children under 12 years old.
