Contemporary visual art by Kim Tinuviel and mixed media shadow boxes by Janet Pheifer are featured in the January / February art show at Blooms Winery’s tasting room at the historic Bayview Corner Cash Store.
Kim Tinuviel creates her unique works by combining camera, computer, traditional art processes and found objects. Music and color work in harmony in her creative pieces. Photography, encaustic and light sculptures are included in the show at Blooms.
Janet Pheifer works by day as a finish carpenter and takes that attention to detail in creating her shadow boxes filled with found objects from jobsites and other facets of her daily travels. Wine foils, handmade paper, wire, buttons and wood are transformed.
The tasting room is open Thursdays to Mondays. Visitors are welcome to come and view the artwork on display, enjoy some fine award winning wines and listen to live music. More information can be found on the website www.bloomswinery.com or by calling 360-321-0515.
