At the ArtBiz Atelier, visual artists receive experienced advice and instruction about how to move to the next level in their art careers. This series of six workshops and a public presentation offers a professional boost and the opportunity to network with other artists. Register for the entire series, or just the workshops you need.
ArtBiz Atelier provides development training for busy artists like YOU (yes, you). Is your creative work well represented online and in a portfolio? Do you have your work for sale in the right galleries? Do you seek alternative opportunities to show your art but aren’t quite sure what in the heck they are and even if you did, how to go about it? Can you easily approach a curator and discuss your artwork?
If the above questions leave you in a cold sweat, these workshops will leave you cool, calm, collected – and the rarest of creatures….the business-savvy artist!
Free introductory lectures are scheduled prior to the registration deadline for each individual workshop for those who wish to get an overview of the content of each workshop. These lectures are open to the public and pre-registration is not required.
ArtBiz Atelier was created and presented by professional artist, designer, marketer and Whidbey resident Kim Tinuviel. She has spent years coaching and teaching professionals to optimize their business practices and public image, and now offers this series of six workshops plus a final presentation event on Whidbey Island, from November 2015 through May 2016.
Blueschool Arts in Clinton is the host of this innovative program, and workshops may be taken as a series or individually. Register by November 25th for the full workshop series and participate in the final Artist Public Presentations at no additional cost.
The full workshop series cost is $325 (a $455 value). Individual workshops are $65. Advance registration is required. Visit http://www.blueschoolarts.com/artbiz-atelier.html for details and to register.
