Artist Richard Nash featured at Penn Cove Gallery July 6-7

Richard Nash will be at Penn Cove Gallery on July 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. to discuss the methods and motivations behind his artworks, including acrylic paintings and sculptures of Cor-ten and stainless steel.

Nash earned a MFA in painting and printmaking and has been a lifelong student of the visual arts including lengthy study in Japan and Europe. With composition as his main focus, his work ranges from botanicals to abstracts. He finds inspiration for his abstracts in the play of light and shadows from and on architectural forms in relationship to natural forms. Currently his work is in six museum stores and five galleries.
