Paintings of the “Bluffs and Beaches of Whidbey” by Pat Brookes can be seen throughout the month of March in the Freeland Library display window. Pat has hiked all the beaches of Whidbey with the Ladies of the Beach; many of the paintings are from her photographs. The oils, however, were painted on site.

Also on display are some beach treasures, agates and beach glass.

Pat’s artwork can also be viewed at Whidbey Art Gallery, 220 Second St., Langley or by appointment. 360-221-8351.
