The Queer Pride Parade team is co-hosting a fundraising celebration at Greenbank Farm on Friday, June 5 — and we need you!
6 p.m. – Doors open
6:30 p.m. – Performance Art & Drag Show
7:30 p.m. – Music by PETE & Dancing All Night
With Crafts, Photobooth, and Beverage Bar Sponsored by Whidbey PFLAG!
Poems! Monologues! Interpretive dance! Original or not!
We envision the first half of the evening to be a drag show, an out-of-this-world fashion show and revolutionary queer art performances.
Performances should be between two to five minutes. Performers of all ages are welcome. Free Admission, one free comp ticket for a friend and one free drink ticket per performer.
THIS IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT: Content must be family-appropriate, so no crotch-grabbing, swearing, or PG-13 topics. Otherwise, the sky’s the limit!
This is a great opportunity to bring out that edgy, imaginative piece of work that you’ve been sitting on. We’re hoping to fill the Barn with the who’s who of the Whidbey community. Come represent your unique selves and have fun dancing in anticipation of the 2nd Annual Queer Pride Parade. We can’t do it without you!
SUBMISSIONS IS NOW EXTENDED TO JUNE 1. Visit www.queerparade.com/performer-submissions to fill out the form by Monday, May 25!
