Award-winning blues singer, former Whidbey Islander and all-around classy lady Cee Cee James is just off a very successful 40-day tour through the Midwest and is returning to her favorite Whidbey Island musical home, Cozy’s Roadhouse in Clinton. She and the boys will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept 28 for a special “Musical Trio Showcase.”

This show promises to be both intimate and powerful, as many of James’ shows are.  James brings along her blues cohorts Rob “Slideboy” Andrews and Doug McAlister. The trio will perform original songs, some of which weave Cee Cee’s life stories into melody. This singer’s vocal artistry has been known to grab every heart and soul, and resonate with those old familiar joys, aches, sorrows and lessons that we all have, and that James locks into and sings from her heart and her gut.

Tickets are $15 in advance and at the door, but this show always sells out quickly, so get them soon.  Here’s Cozy’s website.
