Local art professionals Melissa Koch and Lauren Atkinson, in a special collaboration with Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio, will take your child on a creative adventure of drawing, painting, sculpting, design and imagination — all infused with the magic of storytelling and theater.
The instructors will bring a bright array of stories and characters to serve as inspiration, while students create, experiment and play with a diverse range of materials and methods.Lauren and Melissa bring the perfect combination of fun, creativity, and freedom of expression to their students, while anchoring the class with their years of professional fine arts training and experience.This is an exciting and expansive art experience that will leave your young artist smiling and proud.
The class will take place at Whidbey Children’s Theater at the Langley Middle School.
Recommended for ages 7-12
Wednesdays from 3:45-5:15 p.m., Jan. 15 through March 26.
Tuition is $150, materials fee $15.
