Coupeville Festival Association, a non-profit association and producers of the long-standing Coupeville Arts & Craft Festival, announced today that it will be holding a celebratory 50th Anniversary Reception named, “Thank You Coupeville” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 25 at the Coupeville Recreation Center at 901 NW Alexander Street in Coupeville.

The event will commemorate 50 years of the Coupeville Arts & Craft Festival and will host numerous past festival queens and CFA presidents. In addition, the CFA will be asking all present and past volunteers, as well as the community, to attend. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be provided as well as door prizes.

This is a ticketed event and is limited to 100 attendees. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased only at the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce office on Alexander Street from July 1 through July 18 (unless tickets sell out before the 18th). Ticket holders will receive a commemorative wine glass, two glasses of wine provided by Vail Wine Shop & Tasting Room, hors d’oeuvres provided by Front Street Grill and a raffle ticket with a chance to win numerous prizes. The CFA encourages all community members to come to the reception for a night of fun and celebration.

Established in 1964 and producers of the Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival—one of Washington State’s oldest continuously run festivals—the Coupeville Festival Association is a non-profit, all volunteer, 501(c)4 organization. As a part of the association’s mission, all nonoperational proceeds from each annual festival are invested in the historic Coupeville community in the form of project grants and scholarships. With over 200 Coupeville-area volunteers dedicated to giving countless hours toward the annual Coupeville Arts & Craft Festival, the festival is primarily known for its focus on quality arts and crafts handmade by artisans in the Pacific Northwest.
