Dan Riley to present a demonstration at ASW Feb. 10

Pacific Northwest artist Dan Riley will present a demonstration at the Tuesday, Feb. 10 meeting of the Artists of South Whidbey (ASW). This meeting will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Community Building at 18341 SR 525 in Freeland.

Riley specializes in charcoal drawings as well as paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic. Dan admits his first love is portrait drawing from live models, but he also enjoys painting life drawing, landscapes and seascapes. Riley is president emeritus of the Puget Sound Group of NW Painters and the Eastside Assoc. of Fine Arts.

ASW welcomes painters of all levels and media to join their meetings. We begin with a sack lunch at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at noon. Please bring artwork to share or for gentle critique. For more information, please call  Gaylen Whiteman 360.331.2603
