There’s absolutely nothing like dancing to live drums!

Nows your chance to dance the new year in to live hand-drumming with Brazilian, African and Cuban rhythms, featuring musicians Wade Wilcox, Roger Bennett, Mike Smith, Mark Wahl and special guest Saeed Abbas of Ghana. The dance session is from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Deer Lagoon Grange in Bayview. 

Special drummers’ workshop!
Drummers, come earlier in the day to a “Drumming Workshop with Saeed Abbas of Ghana,”  from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Deer Lagoon Grange.

Admission for dance is $5 to $10 sliding scale. Kids are free; $10 gets you a free CD from Saeed, too!
