Fifty-two local artists show their works in this popular summertime event Aug. 27 and 28

The Whidbey Island Arts Council announced today its highly popular Whidbey Working Artists Summer Open Studio Tour will take place Saturday and Sunday, August, 27 and 28th.

This year, 52 artists are taking part, making it one of the most diverse open studio events ever. Studios will be open 10am to 5pm both days.

Visitors can meet artists working in a variety of mediums: sculpture, watercolor, print, fine woodworking, hand-blown glass, hand-thrown pottery, acrylic, oil, fiber, jewelry, photography, encaustic and mixed media. Artists will have works available for sale.
