Chuck Pettis, entrepreneur and creator of the Earth Sanctuary in Langley, invites the public to the unveiling of his sculpture, the Infinite Tower. Long interested in sacred space and its influence on well-being, Pettis designed the tower to symbolically connect heaven and earth and create a lasting legacy at the nature reserve. He worked with architect Matthew Swett of Taproot Architects and Tim Leonard of Heavy Metal Works, to design and fabricate the white tower whose shadows and light offer seemingly infinite varieties of perspective. The unveiling takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, at the Emil Road entrance, 5536 Emil Road, Langley.
