Island Consort invites you to our second annual Schubertiade, a two-day, all-Schubert program featuring his Notturno Piano Trio, the Arpeggione for viola/piano, his String Quartet Opus 125, no 1, and a set of Lieder sung by the inimitable Fumi Tagata. The first program presentation will be on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2:00 p.m. in the Noorlage Music Salon in Oak Harbor (limited seating; RSVPs required to sweidendorf@whidbey.com); the second presentation will be on Sunday, October 16, 2:00 p.m. at Langley United Methodist Church. The suggested donation at the door is $20 for adults, $5 for youth.
Island Consort, which launched its first season in October of 2013, primarily performs works of the Renaissance, Baroque, and early Classical eras.
