Island Consort invites you to our second annual Schubertiade, a two-day, all-Schubert program featuring his Notturno Piano Trio, the Arpeggione for viola/piano, his String Quartet Opus 125, no 1, and a set of Lieder sung by the inimitable Fumi Tagata. The first program presentation will be on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2:00 p.m. in the Noorlage Music Salon in Oak Harbor (limited seating; RSVPs required to sweidendorf@whidbey.com); the second presentation will be on Sunday,  October 16, 2:00 p.m. at Langley United Methodist Church. The suggested donation at the door is $20 for adults, $5 for youth.

Island Consort, which launched its first season in October of 2013, primarily performs works of the Renaissance, Baroque, and early Classical eras. The Consort is comprised of some 30 instrumentalists and vocalists and, as such, is a unique musical presence on Whidbey Island. For more information, visit http://www.islandconsort.org.
