An introductory Japanese temari class is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at WICEC (Whidbey Island Community Education Center) in Bayview.

All supplies and handouts will be provided for this class so you will only need to bring something for lunch. No prior skills required for this class.

This information-filled class will cover the history of temari, how to make a base from scratch, mark the ball in a simple division, and stitch using several easy techniques. Now’s the time to discover the beauty in temari!

Class Fee is $60 (paid to WICEC) plus materials fee of $15 plus tax (paid to the instructor, Kathy Hewitt). Come join us!
