New York Times best seller, David R. Ignatius, interviewed at WICA on Saturday, Nov. 15

WICA presents a rare interview with David R. Ignatius by Robert W. Merry, and a glimpse into his gripping new novel “The Director,” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. Ignatius’ book was an instant New York Times bestseller about how spies don’t bother to steal information… they change it, permanently and invisibly.

An American journalist and novelist, Ignatius is an associate editor and columnist for the Washington Post. He also co-hosts PostGlobal, an online discussion of international issues at Washingtonpost.com, with Fareed Zakaria.

Author and political journalist, Robert Merry spent 20 years covering Congress, the White House, economic policy and national political campaigns. He is the author of “Taking on the World” (1996), “Sands of Empire” (2005), and recently, “A Country of Vast Designs.”
