A class entitled “Photo Composition, Putting it All Together” will be offered at the Bayview South Whidbey Senior Center in Langley on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fee for the class is $20 for members, $25 for non-members.

Whether you choose to use your camera on the full automatic setting, or make all the decisions yourself, the one thing your camera can’t help you with is the composition of your images. Composition is where technology takes the backseat to creativity. How you choose to arrange all the elements that make up your photo wiil determine whether or not you have a visually pleasing image.
No matter what type of camera you use, this class will offer you techniques to enhance the composition of your photographs.

Your instructor, Joe Fackler, is a retired professional photographer and has been offering classes here on the island and elsewhere for a number of years. To register call the Senior Center at 360-321-1600. For more class information: joefackler@comcast.net.
