Inspired Arts is very pleased to welcome Lijah Hanley, an 18-year-old photographer who has won two National Geographic photo contests and has traveled with their photographers to Peru and the Amazon.

Hanley, who lives in Vancouver, WA, is making his first trip to Whidbey, bringing with him a wide selection of his vibrant nature photos, some of which are large and mounted on metal. This is a rare opportunity to see his works and meet this young man, who has such a promising career ahead of him in the arts.

The young photographer has traveled extensively, capturing stunning photos from places like Macchu Picchu and Maui. He spends much of his  time hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest and, as a result, has a myriad of exquisite photos that we can all appreciate.

A reception for the artist will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2 at Inspired Arts, located at 1689 Main Street in Freeland.  Hanley’s works will be on display throughout April.

Call 360-331-3393 for further information. Inspired Arts is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
