Save the date for the first annual “Arts Alive” event, a citywide street event showcasing local artists demonstrating their talents and providing education in their respective artistic categories around Langley. This event will be held on First and Second Streets in downtown Langley from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Some of the event participants are regionally, nationally and globally recognized local artists and artisans. The event will feature educational demonstrations on techniques by Glass Blowers, Sculptors, Painters, Animators, Sketchers, Fabric Artists, Weavers, Surface Designers, Printers and Photographers.

Colin Campbell and Rene Neff are thrilled to help facilitate and launch “Arts Alive” to showcase the incredible variety and quality of island artists. This event is being sponsored by the City Of Langley, Chamber of Commerce and Langley Main Street Association.  Contact: Colin Campbell (360) 969-5565 or Rene Neff (360) 547-3352 for further information concerning this event.
