South Whidbey Acoustic Music Festival 2015: ‘Eve’s Turn’ on June 28

The South Whidbey Acoustic Music Festival present’s Eve’s Turn, a celebration of Whidbey Island women musicians and songwriters. The event will be held this year from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at Tilth Farmers’ Market at the intersection of State Highway 525 and Thompson Road.

The line-up includes violinist Gloria Ferry-Brennan, cellist and singer/songwriter Siri Bardarson, violinist and composer Toni Talia Marcus, the Joann Quintana Band (featuring Quintana’s original songs,) singer/songwriter Beverly Graham and the Morris Zick duo with Kimmer Morris and Debbie Zick. There is a suggested donation of $12 to $20 to compensate the performers, but anyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy the music.

This will be the festival’s sixth year. As in the past, there will be activities for kids, food, artisans plus the regular produce booths at the farmers’ market.
