Whidbey Children’s Theater invites everyone to a concert featuring the theater’s newest teacher, Bekah Zachritz, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at the theater in Langley. Singer-songwriter and guitarist Zachritz will perform original music and will be joined by fellow teachers and singers, Ahna Dunn-Wilder and Matt Bell.
Bekah began her days on stage singing in talent shows and participating in productions at the local children’s theatre in Macon, Ga. Her love of performance grew with age, and eventually she began teaching children’s theater classes after high school. Zachritz holds a bachelor of arts in theater from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.Most recently she has spent her time performing as a musician, as a childcare provider and a mom.
This event is by donation and open to all ages.
Whidbey Children’s Theater is at 222 Anthes Avenue in Langley.
