Join 25 of Whidbey’s artists at 17 working studios/venues for a free, self-guided tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday March 7, 8 and 9. The tour runs concurrent with the famous Penn Cove Musselfest in Coupeville!
Most artists will be demonstrating during the tour, providing rare insight into the creative process and techniques. A preview of the art work will be exhibited from Feb. 14 to March 3 at the Pacific NorthWest Art School, 15 NW Birch St. in Coupeville. A reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 at the same venue. Come mingle with the artists and celebrate the tour with us.
A color brochure with map and artist information is available online at www.WhidbeyWorkingArtists.com. During the Tour, you are invited to spend quality time with working artists in their studios while you experience the beauty that attracts them to magnificent Whidbey Island. You’ll learn, firsthand, the inspiration and process that go into each artist’s work, while enjoying many scenic island views as you travel.
