Waiting for Guffman is coming to Whidbey Island at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 and 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. Join OutCast Productions’ cast of Judith Dankanics, Martha Murphy, Michael Morgen, Brian Burroughs, Paul Matthews, Ned Farley, Robert Marsyani, Daniel Christensen, Melanie Lowey, Olena Hodges, Max Cole-Takanikos, Dwight Zehm, Gabe Harshman, Ada Karamanyan, Michael C. Robinson, and Tom Churchill as they bring the screenplay of this Christopher Guest classic to live in two staged readings at the Fairgrounds Black Box Theatre!
In the fictional small town of Blaine, Missouri, a handful of utterly delusional residents prepare to put on a community theater production led by eccentric director Corky St. Clair. The show, a musical chronicling the town’s history titled Red, White and Blaine, is to be performed as part of the town’s 150th anniversary celebration.
