If you are in the market for a wedding or large event plan, you’re in luck because the chauffeured Weddings on Whidbey and Events Tour is from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 starting at the Historic Crockett Farm Events Center in Coupeville.
What kind of wedding did you have in mind? Maybe it’s an “Urban Hipster Getaway” wedding that includes alternative music, a natural setting and a funky style? Or perhaps you dream of a “Beachside Lux” wedding that is lavish, elegant, but still low key and features an oyster bar, champagne cocktails and a supper-club style big band. Any configuration, style, look, sound and taste is possible. Just come to the tour and find out all the possibilities to make your stylish dream come true.
Everyone is invited who is planning an event, wedding, family reunion, gathering or corporate retreat to join the planners in Coupeville for this specialized tour that shows off the spectacular settings the island has to offer, as well as the caterers, florists, bands and vintners available locally to make any event truly one to remember.
Bring your friends and families and spend the afternoon touring by chauffeur some of Whidbey’s unique venues in this bucolic and peaceful setting. Sample great food, wines, beer, spirits and cider. Let these planners show you why Whidbey Island is such a great place for any event. You will have a chance to meet with industry professionals, who can help round out your plans and spark ideas to make it unique to your style.
At each stop on this chauffeured tour, you will find a showcased venue decorated to inspire by one of our creative teams. Within each venue, vendors from all over Whidbey Island will be highlighted. Event Planners will stage and design each venue to showcase the possibilities; caterers and sugar rock stars will be at each location offering tasty bites; wineries, breweries and distilleries will have libations to liberate you; florists will have flowers and blooms that will make you swoon; DJs and musicians will have music to get you dancing; and photographers will share shots that will charm you.
You will have the opportunity to meet some of our top wedding and event vendors, including wedding coordinators, dressmakers, rental suppliers, make-up and hair stylists, and so much more. You will quickly understand why Whidbey Island is the perfect location for your next destination event or dream wedding. This tour will make planning that special occasion effortless.
General admission is $20 per person. The general admission tour begins with check-in from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Coupeville’s historic Crockett Barn, located at 1056 Crocket Road in Coupeville, where ample parking is available. Once registered, participants will board chauffeured transportation to discover Whidbey Island!
VIP admission is $35 per person and begins one hour earlier than the general admission tour at 10:30 a.m. at the “welcome venue.” You will be granted early access to our first venue with an option to be whisked away to preview the next venue to begin the day free to leisurely stroll all our venues prior to any other guests. This will allow for more one-on-one time with all our vendors. All of our vendors will have a special offering just for you our VIP guest, including a special sample or special pricing. Be sure to show your VIP card at each location for specials just for you!
Industry/Media admission is $10 per person. Check in for industry or media attendees is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crockett Barn venue.
