Members of Island Consort and friends bring you this “all Schubert, all the time” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 at WICA. The evening program, will feature the delightful “Trout” Quintet in A Major, D 667, a selection of Schubert’s Lieder, and the amazing Octet in F Major, D 803. What’s better on an Island Spring evening than this beloved combination of Schubert and an ode to fishing?

Island Consort members are Gloria Ferry-Brennan, violin; Louise Fiori, viola; Jo Hansen, double bass; Chris Harshman, bassoon; James Hinkley, cello; Jeff Jacobsen, horn; Brian Kenney, violin; Linda Morris, viola; Angelique Poteat, clarinet; Jonathan Small, double bass; Fumi Tagata, soprano and Sheila Weidendorf, piano.
