WICA is proud to present local author and personality Chris Spencer’s return for the Ninth 100 Word Short Story Smash at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Write your heart out, send it in and compete for fame, glory and a little bit of cash in this popular ode to concise editing! Participants can listen to short stories read aloud in front of a rapt audience by well-dressed rhetoricians with sublime elocution and no deep-rooted fear of public speaking.

This year we’ve moved the Short Story Smash to Zech Hall, which features our popular Piano Bar, with drinks being served throughout the evening!

All Seats are $12. Zech Hall Piano Bar opens one hour before the event.
