“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” poet Mary Oliver asks us.
Jeanne Guy Gatherings is presenting a Women’s LifeWriting Retreat: “The Next Chapter…Of Your Life” from Thursday, Oct. 2 through Monday, Oct. 6. Only four spots remain! The fee of $1175 includes sessions, lodging and all meals at the picturesque Marsh House.
Amid the day-to-day demands and unexpected detours of life, we often lose our way. We wander away from the path we thought we wanted to take. With our lives on autopilot, we wake up one day asking, “How did I get here? And how do I rediscover the path back to my wants and needs — and return to my truest self?”
In an atmosphere of comfort and safety, Jeanne Guy, a 20-year journaling and self-awareness teacher, will lead this LifeWriting Retreat for women, giving you the space to stop and reflect on your life story. Is it what you want it to be? Is it all you know you are capable of and truly want?
Using a “re-story” reflective writing process, deep sharing and a big dose of fun and humor, this retreat will give you the opportunity, through creative expression and creative exploration, to get in touch with what you really want your life to be…explore what is holding you back and allow you to start crafting your next chapter.
Christina Baldwin, author and journal writing guru, said it best, “The point of journal writing is to make our own life better…while we live it.”
